My 5 favorite F words

With Thanksgiving under my belt and Christmas quickly approaching it kinda got me thinking...About my 5 favorite F words. And mom I know what you are thinkin...Aw hell here she goes (and even though its your fault to begin with that I even USE that word this is not about that...Promise) I'm keepin it G-Rated up in this blog.

#1 F word-Family
Thanksgiving was just me,the parentals and my weiner this year but Christmas is gonna be a family affair... My Nana and Grandad, Uncle T.K. and my cousin John and my sis and bro in law will all be at the Ortega household! Whohooooo! It's going to be a great big family affair this year and I can not wait. I love being around my family. There will be whisky to drink, cribbage to be played and lotsa love and family to go around. I can barely contain myself over here! We already had a bit of Family time yesterday at the rents house..We baked cookies and made some fudge. My sis and I decorated our infamous sugar cookies (PIPING!!!! Thats for you sister) I must say in another life I will be a professional cookie decorator! LOL We have been doing this since we were kids and it never ever gets old.
An example of my AWESOME cookie decorating skillz..

Speaking of food... I have been up to my ears in Cheese Balls...I believe I have made 4 of those badboys in the last two weeks...It is the most yummmmmmyyyy appetizer ever and super easy!!! #3 F Word- FIESTA!!!!!!
I love love love Christmas time and all the parties! My roomie's fam had a progressive dinner and they graciously allowed me to be part of the family for the evening...We were the first stop on the party train and we had so much fun. Despite the fact that she had to get up at the butt crack of dawn to take the LSAT, my roomie busted her behind to get all the stuff ready for it. We had a blast! Also along with my mom and sister we hosted our annual wine gathering at mom's house. I had all my friends and my moms friends there celebrating life, love and lastly...WINE! I am looking forward to my friend Sarah's Tacky sweater party this friday...My roomie and I are making our own sweaters this year and trust me when I tell you...They are going to be FABULOUS! I'll post more pics so you can check it out!

#4 F Word-FOOTBALL!
Even though the last two weeks have left me saddened and PISSED off...I will continue to support my Cowboys. It's a long standing tradition in my family to love the Cowboys no matter what...no matter if they are sucking it UP royally...I love watching them play. I'd prolly be smited straight to hell if I said otherwise!!! Since my Dad didn't have boys he settled for me. I get mad and yell and curse and we know that Pawie watches us from Heaven...Hed be right there with us if he could...Madder than hell that our boys can't get their S*** together! I LOVE my Cowboys I really do but they infuriate me to no end!

ROMO---Get it together buddy.

#5 F Word-Fat Pants
Thats right ladies and gentleman...FAT PANTS! I bust them out around this time of year because, well all that food I described earlier...Yea I EAT IT! Im not scared to say it! I need the elastic waste to expand with my belly. You can't very well enjoy yourself when your belly is protruding over your jeans and I refuse to have that happen. I gotta be comfy you know what I mean?

So whether you eat too much or get reallllly upset at the football games that bombard the television...Tis the season and however you celebrate it...Remember why you are here in the first place! God loved us so much and we celebrate Him along with the merriness, food, family, and even fat pants.

One love...

I'm out.
